Vocation: Pastor of Cornerstone En Español, Simi Valley, CA; Founder & President of ECI

Ministry: José Luis Amézquita was born in Guatemala and moved to the United States when he was 18 years old. He completed his theology studies in 1994. José Luis worked for 15 years for Children's Hunger Fund and He served for four years in His last Position as the Executive Director of Ministry Development overseeing relationships domestically and in 30 countries around the world. He traveled throughout the Americas, developing "Mercy Networks" which proclaimed the Gospel while providing food packs for the needy. José Luis later served as the Missions Pastor at Cornerstone Community Church of Simi Valley, CA. In 2007, he founded Cornerstone En Español, and he continues to pastor this thriving congregation today. José Luis has always had a heart to train pastors and church leaders in God's Word and reach the needy through compassion ministry, which led him to start Equipping the Church Int’l (ECI) in 2013. He currently resides in Simi Valley, CA, with his wife Luz.
